Suitable Attire and Environmental Considertions

In summer light cotton clothing is best. It can be cold in the Wheatbelt in winter time so a warm jacket and pants is recommended. The temperature also reduces with height gain so if an opportunity to take a thermal to a high altitude prevails, even in the warmer months, it is good to take additional clothing with you on the day of your flight. A round brimmed sun hat is recommended and made with soft material (so it does not scratch the cockpit canopy) No baseball caps please. Sunglasses and sunblock is advised.
